Meet the team behind Janet's Country Fayre

Like so many artisan food producers, Janet’s Country Fayre started small. Janet Drew the founder began pickling in her home kitchen in 1995 and by 2003 it was her full-time career. From the kitchen of her gate lodge home in Co. Westmeath the business grew until eventually Janet made the decision to move production to a modern purpose built facility on her brother’s farm at the foot of the Sugarloaf Mountain in beautiful Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow. 

Janet’s Country Fayre is now recognised as a leading Irish artisan food producer of premium traditional and contemporary chutneys and relishes, with new product development ongoing. Janet herself has a passion for preserving Irish Food Heritage. Her products are 100% natural, vegetarian and gluten free, with no added sugar or salt and without preservative, artificial colourants, bulking or setting agents. Janet works closely with the local suppliers of her ingredients to ensure the highest quality and a delicious end product.

Sustainability is at the core of the companies activities and Janet’s Country Fayre is a part of Bord Bia’s Origin Green Programme.
