Lyle's Golden Syrup is a thick, golden amber coloured form of inverted sugar syrup, made in the process of refining sugar cane juice into sugar. It has the appearance and sweetness similar to honey but is more mellow in flavour. Enjoyed through the generations, it has been a kitchen cupboard staple since 1883. The authentic and unmistakable taste adds a golden touch to everything from biscuits and puddings to savoury snacks and marinades.
