Polly and Andy are a mother and son from the picturesque fishing village in Checkpoint, Co. Waterford. Andy is the centre of Polly’s world and the inspiration behind Polly’s search for a solution to his problem of clothes that ‘hurt’.
Acutely aware of how scratchy, uncomfortable and even distressing children can find next to skin clothing, Polly began her exhaustive research and she found the perfect solution. Bamboo fibre is super soft, smooth, breathable, hypoallergenic, moisture wicking and feels great to wear. It is also sustainable, long lasting, retains its shape in the wash and it is biodegradable.
Polly and Andy sensory friendly bamboo socks launched in the Summer of 2019, come in a range eye catching colours and designs, in sizes from newborns to Adults, ankle, knee and most recently soft top with looser cuffs for people with poor circulation.
