Our independent foodstore opened in August 2019 in Newtown, Tramore. Cove Stores is Tramore's newest convenience store but is very unlike any shop in the town. Our shop décor is bright, airy and non-traditional in its merchandising technique.
The Cove Stores has always been at the cornerstone of familiarity in Tramore. When the doors re-opened, they opened out onto decades of memories. We have really captured the essence of many traditions with loose fruit & veg, brown paper bags and in many stepping back to basics while providing the community with everything they need. The outdoor seating area allows customers to sit and enjoy coffee, lunch or a famous 99 after a dip in the sea at the Guillamene or a walk on The Doneraile. Children from the local schools visit religiously every Friday after school to get their weekend treats and catch up outside on the famous wall. Starting a new reel of memories :)
With quality and customer service underpinning the Cove offering, our story is formed through the local, Irish, eco and artisanal product on shelf combined with the personalities of our friendly and fun team.
Our offering is unique in many ways – we serve locally roasted barista style coffee, our delicatessen has a clear focus on health and nutrition, our range of grocery products are local and Irish with many coming from small batch producers, our large range of wines are hand selected by us alongside our craft beers, Irish gins, vodkas & whiskeys and we are immersed in local community initiatives.
You can also shop online for many of our store favourites from anywhere on the island of Ireland. Our courier partner is DPD and for all orders placed before midday, we aim to dispatch on the same day so you will receive your order the next day > Shop Now. :)
